This. Cheese and I were discussing him. Wanting to analyze him. All we were doing was finding different ways to say “meh.” Hope he’s good.
Who?!?
One question that comes with any defensive-minded coach is who will be his offensive coordinator and play-caller.
Who could be that guy for Gannon?
Per PHNX’s Howard Balzer and also speculated by SI.com’s Albert Breer, it could be Cleveland Browns quarterbacks coach Drew Petzing.

One thing is for certain, he & Monti are gonna look more alike in a few years lol.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Just because Monti had Gannon as his #1 target, there's no guarantee Gannon wants to leave Eagles. He even made the comment 2 weeks ago that he was coming back and not leaving Philly.
So Maholmes pulled off that late game winning scramble on only one leg huh?? Because I couldn't even tell which ankle it wasYay, his defense couldn’t touch Mahomes in the second half who had one leg. I’m excited
It explains it but why give Anarumo & Kafka 2nd interviews if Monti was waiting on his guy all along? Maybe having a good backup plan?
Yes. I think Ossenfort realizes our OL sucks badly. Gannon coming from Philly where their OL is very good & being a DC............yeah, the trenches on both sides will be fixed. So these trenches...that has to do with guys that protect the QB correct? As a Cards fan I can't recall ever seeing that lol
Several different things - team with discipline, good defense, developing young players, using players to maximize their potential, less headlines about the off field antics of the team than on field headlines, developing young coaches. The list goes on and on how he can succeed even if Kyler isn't the guy. If he was only brought in to be tied to Kyler, they wouldn't have drafted a defensive guy.If Kyler is struggling, how do you measure the success of the rest of the team? What would the "doing other things well" look like?
He had that pain killer shot. He was grimacing when he got up after he was tackled in the second half. And yet they still couldn’t touch himSo Maholmes pulled off that late game winning scramble on only one leg huh?? Because I couldn't even tell which ankle it was in the 4th quarter
Mahomes got the ball off pretty quickly most the game, and in someone's analysis of the Eagles' Dline, they slipped on 38% of dropbacks. He had that pain killer shot. He was grimacing when he got up after he was tackled in the second half. And yet they still couldn’t touch him
Kyler should ask Mahomes about how he does that lol?He had that pain killer shot. He was grimacing when he got up after he was tackled in the second half. And yet they still couldn’t touch him
My point is he was 100% mobile and suggesting he wasn't isn't factualHe had that pain killer shot. He was grimacing when he got up after he was tackled in the second half. And yet they still couldn’t touch him

I read that too. There is a twitter feed from inside of this thread I think.Link?
to be fair the Eagles pass rush who had dominated everyone all year…. seemed to be stymied by the crappy field conditions…Yay, his defense couldn’t touch Mahomes in the second half who had one leg. I’m excited
I wouldn't be shocked if LB coach Nick Rallis is brought over by Gannon to be the DC
