From the ESPN article on the Texans drafting Williams:

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported that other teams are interested in trading up and trying to get Bush in the draft. Among five teams that have contacted the Saints are the Raiders and the Packers. The Cardinals might be interested in trading up to No. 2, also, but they are not interested in drafting Bush.

Heard Paolantonio say the same thing on the radio.

Me? I'm not buying it. Who would we be going after at #2? Ferguson? Leinart? They were talking about the cost of the Jets moving form #4 to #2 being astromical. I just can't see moving from #10 to #2. Honestly we're talking about giving up a first round pick to move up that much. I would have to file this one in the category of B.S., but I thought it was interesting that the Cardinals were one of the teams thrown into the hat as a potential team to move up to #2.

I'm sure they called to see what it would take (praying for a bargain) but realized they have no shot of going up that far without trading a lot in return. No harm in asking, I suppose, but I doubt it was serious

If Teams are trying to get Bush at #2 I wonder if we could get the Titans to trade their #3 pick and us take Leinart.

It would be to land Vince Young

Wow. My head would explode from too many options. I'm not going to be able to handle the wait from tonight to tomorrow.

Regardless of who trades to the #2 pick, Reggie Bush goes.

I like Assface's thinking. Trading to #3 with the Titans ... but I want Young.

They should trade for the #2 pick, then trade it to someone else.

How bold would that be?

How about trade up to #2, then trade it to the Jets for their 2 1st and a forth. Then we take AJ Hawk @ #4, Mangold @29, and Anthony Smith S Syracuse with the 4th.

Uh..I was just throwing out ideas why we would trade up to 2. I don't think it's likely. Just being hypothetical. Give me a break.

I guess it would depend what we traded to get the #2 pick. I would like to get Mangold, for sure, though.

According to the draft value chart it would take all of our picks and more.

Settle down all I said was no, which meant it would not be something I would want. Nothing personal bud.

Lets just enjoy tonight and tomorrow!!
