Was at three different Malls yesterday in San Antonio and Austin with my daughter and Cardinals gear is available in large quantities in every memorabilia store.

But the big change which my daughter noticed right away was that the stuff was in the FRONT of the store and displayed in the windows.

At one kiosk there were 3 backpacks prominently displayed: Cowboys, Colts and CARDINALS. That was in Austin!

I see a lot more people wearing that gear, too!

I usually see a half-dozen people with Cardinals stuff on at the gym every time I go now; a couple of years ago, I would not see anyone.

I see them wear the colors, now, and proudly.

Nice to have lived long enough...

Unfortunately, I've experience the opposite in my neck of the woods. It used to be the local retail stores(Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) would carry Cowboys, Raiders, 49ers and some Chargers and Cardinals. Not nearly as much of the Cardinals but I guess they were within some kind of geographic distance to be considered "local".

I can't find anything at all nowadays. Maybe the smaller quantity of Cardinals stuff that they would always get is now being snatched up right away instead of sitting like it used to. I think I'll just believe that scenario and feel good for the Cardinals even though I haven't seen anyone around town wearing the stuff.

I just came back from my local Safeway and they had Cardinals hats and T-shirts. The hats were butt-ugly but they said "NFC Champs". Whoo-hoo!

I have just about come to the conclusion that if you're over 40... (as I am) every ball cap is now butt-ugly.

I just can't see myself rocking the flat bill-sticker still in place look anytime soon.

Awesome!

Hey, DJ, if you see a white NFC Champions stein, let me know. I ordered one from NFL.com and they screwed up my order and, by the time the realized it, they were out of stock. I never got it and I really, really want one. (My dad had similar steins for all the championship teams he liked when I was growing up and I want to continue that tradition.) Am willing to pay twice what it costs in the store.

I wish an AW jersey t-shirt were available more widely online. The site I found it on was an NC State site. Nothing wrong with that, but I can get one in Phx--at least at the team shop.

JG - Try the AZ Mills Mall - Glass Cage Sports had a lot of Championship and SB stuff on sale.

In the West Valley in Litchfield Park, the Valero station on Dysart and Indian School has the same deal.

Would appreciate it if anyone in the areas could grab me one. I might even pay you for it. :D
