or more likely he'll get hurt during the physical that is precedent to the trade's finalization

He's got a scatter gun history and is injured too often.

If the team didn't have a young QB waiting in the wings I'd be a little more interested, but only barely.

Young QB waiting in the wings??? Matty is not panning out to be a winner...

Mcnabb? Quin? DEREK ANDERSON

We have Leinart. I guess people forget that. He hopefully will bring all the positives that Warner brings to the table while eliminating Warner's most frustrating brain-farts.

If the Cardinals spend any money or draft picks on the qb position next year then there really is no hope for this regime. Just like focusing on Edgerrin James when the o-line and many other problems were the obvious areas of need. Just think, if they hadn't gone out and got Edge, they might have thought a little more about picking up a RB in this year's draft.

There is not one coach in the NFL who would give up on Leinart after what he has shown in his brief time. Not one. To think that we would have three QBs all getting money like that is insane. It shouldn't happen, and it wont.

McNabb's done some impressive work, especially getting in being a factor to getting his team into the playoffs consistently.

By Quinn, I assume you mean Brady, and I'm not sure why you're bringing him up.

Derek Anderson was cut by the Ravens and brought in by Phil Savage (Ozzie Newsome's # 2 man in Baltimore) in Cleveland, who spot started for a while before getting his shot, all while professional prognosticators predicted the aforementioned Quinn would be starting by the very next week.

The reason I bring that up is to illustrate the value of patients.
We still don't know squat about Leinart and to give up on him in his second year would be a mistake, one like the Ravens may be feeling about Anderson today.

Give a player some time before you turn them into kindling.

McNabb is an old, washed up, has been, injury prone QB. He hasn't gotten the Eagles anywhere in the last two seasons. Remember it was Jeff Garcia that took the team to the division title last year.

I'll pass. Our team doctors have enough on their plates already.

McNabb is still very good IMO. You gotta remember it has only been a year since he blew his knee out. Have you even watched their line pretend to try to protect him? Warner and Leinart would both have been dead by midseason. Saying that he hasn't gotten them anywhere in the past two years is just dumb. He has been great for them and before he blew his knee out last year he was the surefire MVP of the league. Garcia didn't take them anywhere. He helped a winning team continue to win.

A new coach building his first team his way does not need to be saddled with an aging, oft-injured QB, be he called McNabb or Warner.

McNabb at least partially trains at Lifetime Fitness in Tmepe (I-10/Elliot). I saw him ther this season running a treadmill. Mind you, this was like week 3 or 4, so nowhere near a Bye. In my mind, I was like, "WTF? Is this guy seriously away from PHI in the middle of the week before a home game? Either he's a baby, a primadonna, a malcontent or all of the above."

What a shame he has become. I remember when he single-handedly beat us in a game in which he broke his leg....

Why are we bashing a guy from another team for no reason????

What has McNabb ever done to anyone??? McNabb is the best player from the '99 draft and yet was instantly booed mercilessly in Philly. He has taken them to the playoffs 6 out of 8 years, and may have gottem them their his rookie year as well had he played sooner. He has played through too many injuries to count and had to deal with the worst fans on the face of the earth the whole time. He is also the only QB in history to finish a season with 30+ TDs and less than 10 picks. Lets not forget he has had one of the worst recieveing groups in the game throughout his career (minus'04 when he had TO).

The man is a Warrior in every aspect of the word. Stop hating please.
