i was too.

well, now what are we going to do in FA? This team now has major holes at T, CB, WR and still looking for another OLB... in other words... same problems it's had for years.

really don't get letting Marshall go. The guy proved he fit your system perfectly, didn't break the bank and is young... but we're going to now depend on a guy coming back from an ACL, an undrafted 3rd year CB who was awful last year and Crezon Butler... who also is coming off missing the entire season with a nasty torn ligament ankle problem. doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

hopefully the restructuring allows us to get the best OT left and Wimbley.

I say we start another thread about it Cheesy, that is a good question, plus I want to challenge your need for another CB.

Well... I sorta got what I wanted. It sounds like the Cards told him, "restructure or we cut you".

Too bad he didnt say "no".

Joke would have been on the Browns.

Over $5M per annum for a nickle corner / nickle safety. Too pricey.

We paid a lot for Kolb. It only makes sense to give him a complete chance to prove what he can do and what coach saw in him in the first place. With time now to learn and practice correctly, hopefully we will see a confident leader to go with the strong arm he has.

And to Kevin I say: Here is the big chance you have been wanting for. Don't blow it. Remember, you have one of the greatest WRs of all time to throw to. How lucky could you be. Many former QBs would envy you. Go out there and fulfill all those dreams you have had of being a starting NFL QB. We are all rooting for you!

I'm told that Kevin Kolb has NOT restructured his contract. He will receive his $7 million roster bonus.

Receiving his 7 mill roster bonus does not preclude a restructure. He will still restructure but it would not be in his best interest to do so until he got that 7 mill first.

But, how do we get CAP relief this year, Joe?

Good about time. Move on and extend CC, sign Bell and Wimbley and let's look to the draft!

Agreed!

Use this snub as motivation...I know Fitz will, hopefully the other will too. The Cards organization should too to build the best team they can put on the field.

That should be the goal every year. That's part of the problem imo

Cardschatter: Nice. RT @KidStallyn: @Cardschatter Cardinals just changed their Relationship Status on Facebook with Kevin Kolb to IT'S COMPLICATED. [via Twitter]

Oh, it's okay, Kevin. Dry those tears:
