Since our Cardinals have been here in Arizona, I can't remember a season where the roster was so well taken care of at this juncture of the season. Although we certainly have needs, none of them seem to be really glaring, as was the spot that they filled using the draft to get Levi Brown.

The staff and FO have done a remarkable job of re-signing our own FA's and are steadily working on extending those contracts that can be worked out. They have also done a good job of filling needs with solid FA signings that have been prudent so far as the cap goes. We still have a couple of weeks to work on contract extensions for Dansby, Wilson, before the draft starts.

From the number and quality of players that the scouts have singled out for interviews and workouts, it appears that we are definitely looking in the right direction to provide position competition where it is needed the most.

I can't hardly comprehend how different this is from what we have come to expect in the past. It all appears to have started with putting Michael in charge of Football Operations, and having him work with RG to sign appropriate members to both the coaching and scouting staffs.

The result --- no real arguments or fights on the board about what we should or shouldn't have done, and I am bored enought to write this post.

Indeed it is --- expecially when this is not at all what we are accustomed to.

Nice post CF. The stadium changed the revenue of this team, and we're seeing the results put in place in the FO and the coaches in the system. Both on and off the field.

Right on with the stadium and new revenue sources. Mr. B. kept his promise. (unlike the Phoenix 40)

I think the key is that even if you don't agree with it, I feel arizona has a plan. The team is drafting guys this year to replace potential player losses next year. In the past we were drafting guys to replace last year's free agent loss.

I agree and hopefully that means we stock up on OLB'ers. In my opinion we need 2 studs to take this team to the next level and be really in the chase for the next 4-5 seasons. English (Boldin trade) and Sintim or Cody Brown would be my 1st two picks. English and Sintim will be stars!!!
