Cards Struck out on FA Pass Rushers

Looks like Cards struck out on their biggest need in free agency: getting a pass rusher. (i.e. JPP, Hali, Mario Williams, Bruce Irvin). Oh well maybe their is a 2nd tier guy out there that will come cheaply.

OK, lets put the FA money now on a quality CB to team with Patrick Peterson. They're are some good ones out there like Stean Smith (Chiefs) and Janoris Jenkins (Rams)

They made a strong effort to sign JPP and outbid the Giants. They didn't want to overpay for Irvin, and that, imo, was very smart. Mario Williams is a major risk and could have been another "sign for the paycheck" Ted Ginn, Jr.. There are still some opportunities to explore, so how about giving BA&SK some slack.

You can't outbid Oakland, they have endless cap space and overpay everyone. But there's nothing to celebrate on the whole today, looks like another year of picking guys off the scrap heap and hoping we get lucky.

Nobody likes Oliver Vernon? Word is that the Dolphins might rescind his transition tag. And there hasn't been any news of him negotiating with anyone. I'm not his biggest fan, by any means, but he could definitely help our biggest weakness.

Man. Some of you guys are harsh. I for one am glad Keim didn't overpay beyond his perceived worth of the player. Jags and raiders HAVE to spend moneyssss. It's the players choice. Not the teams. In the instance where we did outbid, JPP, he chose to stay because of his emotional attachment to NY. Can't blame him. so be it.

Tamba Hali was pretty much the only player I thought would add anything to the team. The rest was 50/50 at best.
