I don’t like Drew Statton but the 49ers injury list is unreal. Cards will win poorly played game by both teams.

I predict I'll be smoking 8 racks of ribs for family that is coming in from out of town. It will be a joyous occasion. I will be balancing all of this happiness by checking in on the game from time to time on my phone, leading me to an even keel for the day.

Cards 24
49ers 3

My Debbie downer of the game is Adrian Peterson will gain 50 yards rushing the ball.

Stanton leads the team to a TD after the defense forces a turnover inside the 49ers 30 yd line. If this doesn't happen then it could be just 3 points for the Cardinals. No faith in Stanton.

Almost forgot, JG comes in late in the third quarter to lead SF to two TDs.

Cards 38-17. Cards have played well every other game..
Um, on what planet? Here is "every other game":

@ Indy-Struggled to beat a team down to their 3rd string QB who they had just traded for. Had to struggle to tie it then struggle to barely win in OT. Is this considered playing well?

vs SF-Struggled to score points on one of the worst defenses in the league. Had to settle for FG's all day long until finally scoring a TD in overtime winning with just 32 seconds left. Is this considered playing well?

Vs Tampa-Jumped to a 31-0 lead and had to struggle to hold on against a backup QB. Is this considered playing well?

I mean, one half of good football is hardly "playing well. The only way we win this game is if SF shoots themselves in the foot otherwise I see us getting blown out. Yes, blown out. They scored 39 points on the Rams who embarrassingly shut us out.

27-10 49ers

Althought the 49ers are doing everything to not win latly and played bad since Hoyer isn't there starter anymore, but I think this game will be theire game. I could be wrong Than the Cards win another meaningless game, before getting destroyed by Seattle.

My sister predicted after the rams game, that we will get destroyed by Seattle. Last time she made such a prediction, Whiz was the HC ... and we got destroyed. So since my little sister is a bit of a witch when it comes to Football (she wanted to be a Patriot back in 96 prior the season opener) and is more often right then wrong with her bold predictions, I'm going to say we will lose both games, this one already very hard to digest and the seattle game really badly.(And yes she predicted it, when we still were in Twickenham Stadium)

Cardinals 24-10.

Stanton has his best game as a pro, Peterson runs for another 100 yards.

This is all to give us hope and then rip it away again as we get absolutely crushed on Thursday night.

if Jimmy G starts it'll be 49-3 SF. I've never seen the guy play, just basing this on all the expert scouts here on the board.

You didn't watch him play his first start against the cards last year?

yeah...redbirds will unfortunately squeak this one out. That will result in the niners staying ahead of us in the draft....and since they wont want a QB they will trade the pick to the team right behind us that needs a QB and wants the same guy we want...of course they wont trade it to us being in the same division and all...
but the win keeps...uh,.."hope"...alive and has some people convinced we can win the division at 9-7 or even 8-8...and we are still in it. because...math.

Honestly... who cares? Does this game even matter?? If the Cards win, so what?? They beat a winless, busted up 9er team. If they lose, so what?
This season is officially toast and I honestly can’t believe anyone would think otherwise. It’s laughable to dream about the Cards being in post season contention at any point during the remainder of this season. Stanton sucks, period... even if he magically leads the Cards to victory tomorrow.
My entire focus is on the offseason... Do BA, Carson and Larry officially call it quits? And what does Keim finally do about a QBoF??
What happens tomorrow and over the balance of the season means squat... Oh, and I fully expect a thorough and epic pounding Thursday night. This team is tailor-made for the Hawks. We can’t run. We certainly can’t throw with Stanton as QB. And we have zero ability to deal with a mobile QB. Yep, I see a 45-3 type whoop-ass...
