I dont remember who asked if this game would be on nfl network but in the latest honey badger article on azcardinals.com I found this nugget

But the hype will be there, even in the preseason, with a home opener against Dallas in a game being shown on the NFL Network.

So there you go! 1:30 pm Saturday is kickoff.

It was me. Thanks. Means 3:30 for us Texans. One of the best things about flying out to Phoenix for games was that in September and October I could leave Austin at 10AM and land at Sky Harbor at 10:15AM.

Of course it took 5 hours to get your luggage and ride to Anthem to the rental car facility. :(

Any idea if it will be blacked out on the NFL network and shown on a local channel?

No idea if they'll black out NFLN, but it will be shown live locally in ABC 15.

Don't expect to see much on NFL network. They will be to busy talking about the 49ers and seahawks and showing highlights of other games to show anything from this game.

I live in Dallas & they always show the game on NFLN & the local broadcast, because many homes still don't have NFLN so it should be the same in Austin.

If the game didnt sell out we wouldnt be able to watch it on 15 OR on NFL network.

I dont think blackouts apply to preseason though.

Any chance of the Austin posters getting together for some regular season games?

We've tried that before but the traffic is so bad that its hard to do. The Holiday Inn sports bar at Mopac and 183 is relatively convenient to both South and North Austin. Maybe we could try there.

As for the game Saturday we'll have to suffer through 3 hours or more of Cowboy's announcers. No way we ever get our guys.

game is sold out.

PS: nfl network I believe does half the broadcast with one teams announcers and then flips it for second half. Unfortunately, its likely the cowboys announcers the first half.

Not anymore! Home teams peeps do the call the whole game, at least that's what was done last week.

I thought that as well. But last season at our preseason home games they used the opponents broadcast.

I would prefer the cowboys guys to Wolf... I would prefer anyone but Bernie Kosar to Wolf! :)

Someone - I think it was D Urban - mentioned that Pasch, Wolfley etc. would be announcing the NFLN Dallas - Cardinal telecast.
