I don't know. A few months ago, I would have said that. But adding that level of scoring and clutch play at the sf position could be a benefit. I think Melo is at the point in his career where working within the team concept could be really appealing to him.

I am not advocating, just wondering if it might be something to consider.

Now, we need to hear from LeBron.

He will end up in Chicago, NY, Dallas or Houston. IMO

Would love to see him in PHX, but at the same time I wouldn't. He is such a ball hog, but he is pretty good. Not gonna happen because we are not a big market team and you know he wants that spotlight. Hence the reason he left Denver

I read something that his preference is Chicago and we are looking to trade Taj Gibson, Tony Snell and both first round picks for future picks to create enough space for Melo and to bring Nikola Mirotic over from Europe. That means we get a ball hog and put the PF duties on Mirotic's shoulders all while hoping Rose can come back at even 80%. I hate it, hate it, hate it. I would rather put together a deal to get Love, inlcude Mirotic in the above deal and keep one pick to draft a SG. If Mirotic is half as good as many think he will be, then Minny will be in good shape.

Rose
Draft Pick
Bulter
Love
Noah

Let NY keep Melo.

Mirotic is not that good.

Which means he will be an all star.

But seriously, I will wait to see him actually play in the NBA. You also called Rose a bust when he was drafted.

Except I never proclaimed that Rose would be a bust.

I called him out for being overrated and being a poor passer in his sophomore season which was accurate then.
He was basically Eric Bledsoe without defense and for the first 2 years had a worse offensive rating than defensive rating which is almost unheard of for good PGs.

I have seen Mirotic several times this year. He is a good player in europe but that is all and there are lots of really good players who in the NBA are roster fillers at best. It is absolutely unpredictable how Mirotic would perform in the NBA.

I'd love for the Suns to get involved and facilitate that. It would give the Suns an even bigger pile of assets to make a bigger move for someone like Kevin Love.

5 first rounders in 2014, and the Morris twins for Love- come on Minny take it! :p

The track record for international players with that talent to be drafted by the NBA who also won the ACB MVP is pretty good.

You are right, you did not call him a bust, this is what you said about him.

14 points 19 assists 5 minutes to go in the 4th quarter.

Please stay on the Derrick Rose bandwagon as he is the most overrated player in the league.

Darren Collison is a true PG and a stud. Jesus i can't believe he is this good. I really wanted him to enter the draft in 2008 so we could draft him, but after this year I had no expectations for him.

He has no glarring weakness really, if you want to moan about something turnovers is the biggest issue but he is just pretty solid at everything already.

hindsight ist 20/20, Collison was playing amazing ball that year when he first got a chance when Paul was down, Rose was not good in his sophomore season simple.
