Chris Carpenter, the 2005 NL Cy Young winner, will miss the rest of the season and part of next year after he undergoes elbow ligament replacement surgery next week. Why is he overrated? Since he's been with STL he's been an ace.

I feel sorry for the guy (as much as you can for a millionaire). When he was with Toronto he was close to retirement because of shoulder issues. Now he has elbow problems.
