In three months Amare spent $206,069.28.........YIKES! He sure needed a lot of money for that time. If he spends money that fast, his money will not last long!

Now I realize he can spend what he wants, but man thats a lot in 3 months.

If I rememeber he did not buy any property during that time.

What do you suppose the $300.00 on 7/30/02 was for?

:(

Well, he may not have spent it all. It just says he recieved the money and did not repay it.

Also, travel expenses are included in those amounts. I am sure he was flown first class all over the country before the season started, on the expense of his agent. Not to mention fancy dinners, nights out, and suits/clothing.

When players are flying all over the country to tryout for teams, I thought the team paid for them to come in and workout?

:confused:

I noticed that every single payment was under the magical amount of

$ 10,000.00

which , by exceeding $9,999.99 would require the financial institutions to report each transaction to the I R S .

Maybe that is why there are a bunch of consecutive day payments , all under the $ 10,000.00 trigger amount.

:rolleyes:
