On the CBS pre-game show, Charlie Casserly talked about the home field advantage enjoyed by Minnesota and New Orleans. Then he said, "It hasn't gone unnoticed in league circles that the Viking defensive tackles, Kevin and Pat Williams, and the Saints defensive ends Will Smith and Charles Grant, escaped four-game suspensions because of a court ruling."

The clear inference was that both teams got a big break from the legal system on their way to 'earning' home field advantage.

Ironic that the Cardinals TE Ben Patrick was suspended for the first four games of the season. He would have come in very handy in the San Francisco opener with Q way less than 100% and Steve Breaston out with the bad knee.

I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Hmm thats a great point and I didn't think of it. And Ben was busted for taking a freaking Adderral.

What a joke. I will say those two homefields were BIG factors this past weekend.
