Last night's win over WSU was huge. I'm hoping Nic Wise will be ready to play for the Pac-10 tournament. It would be nice to see this team at full strength. With the Cats being a very young team and not having much depth, they can use all the help they can get and Wise is the only true point guard on the team.

By the way, Horne probably had his best game last night. His confidence has to be very high and hopefully he can continue to play like he did last night.

It's going to take a strong finish by the cats to make the NCAAs. They need to beat USC and have a strong showing against UCLA. If they can somehow pull that game off, it'll be huge and would almost lock them into the tourney.

I think anything short of losing the rest of their games, the win over Wash St. got them a spot in the tourney.

Agree. Lunardi has the Cats as a #7 seed right now. The committee will take into account the games Bayless missed and Wise. It's amazing, the Cats have been playing without a true point guard for the last three weeks.

Also, it will be hard to not take a team with a RPI of 16 and the #1 strength of schedule. A few years ago Georgia lost 14 games but got in because of their RPI and SOS.

Yeah, let's fire the coach right now and bring back Lute.

That last UA win was a shocker to me and debunked the whole theory that the team was in turmoil.

Agreed. I didn't think they'd win at Wash St. but they surprised me. They have to win a couple games in the pac 10 tourney as well and where they are hovering, looks like they might face UCLA in round 2 assuming they finish 4th or 5th in the conference. Finish 6th where they are now and they get the Stanford side of the bracket. #3 is not possible since Wash St. plays Cal, USC and Wash. They should win two of those locking us out.

Now we route to keep the streak alive.

Um, KO has us in pretty much in this same predicament now as Lute did the last few years. Neither guy is anything to brag about on the sidelines at this point in their careers. Arizona can do better, but with Jim Livengood at the helm I expect the worst possible decision to be made.

Agreed, who's the basketball coach equivalent of Stoops? Whomever that is, that's who he'll hire. Perhaps the assistant coach at Cal will be the next head coach.

If UA was wise, they would tap the NAU/Ben Howland tree, and get Jamie Dixon.
