Is anybody sure about the conditions of the pick the Suns have to give to Utah?

Its looking more and more like the Cavs are going to make the playoffs and the Knicks aren't.

If this happens do ther Suns get to keep the Knicks lotto pick and send Utah the Cavs pick?

In other threads people have speculated that it is just a #1 pick this year. On the NBA site it says "conditional"

I would like to know defenitively what the situation is.

On the ESPN Suns message board somebody posted a quote from Suns.com that said it is between the Suns own pick and the one they got from the New York Knicks.

I was under the impression that it made absolutely no difference which picks we got--it was our worst of our first rounders. If it happens to be Clevelands, then the Jazz would get it. If it happens to be the Knicks, then that's the pick the Jazz get.

It was a direct quote from the official Phoenix Suns web site. I hope Bryan Colangelo does an Internet chat sometime soon. I would really like to ask them about that draft pick. I would also like to comment that the fans do not want him to waste the free-agent money just to sign anyone. In fact I think I need to talk to BC directly.
