cap hit this year (assuming 11 games) to the acquiring team of $6.5mm

signed through the 2023 season with a salary/cap hit to the acquiring team of $11.5mm

wants to go to a team that emphasizes man to man coverage

So not here then.

I'm really not sure Jackson is much (if any) better than what we have. Gave up over 100 passer rating last year and 120 this year.

You really think that would make that much of a difference in the end? Unless it’s an elite corner, most corners success are dependent on the guys up front getting pressure on the QB.

And he already has that in Washington and has still sucked.

William Jackson III was a press man corner coming out of college & in Cincy.

He goes to Ron Rivera’s zone scheme & you see why he has played the way he has.

Was he there before Rivera? Just makes you wonder why guys choose teams that clearly don’t fit their skill set? I understand $$$ but in the long run you think it would hurt you…

Oh I agree but I’m talking about a true blue chipper. I think the offense will make a push once Dhop comes back if he doesn’t follow the team trend and tweak something in the first couple weeks. If the defense were able to able to add an elite corner to help our pass rush, we could prob be competitive in the division in this down year for the NFCW.

I don't think there is a true blue chip CB in the league anymore. Even players like Ramsey that were known as one, isn't really playing that well anymore... and he has Aaron Donald in front of him.

The Corners haven't really been that bad though.

Wilson has given up a 76 QB Rating!
Murphy an 89 QB Rating.
