To say that Nathan Peterman’s NFL career got off to an underwhelming start would be an understatement. Peterman’s first professional start can perhaps best be described as a disaster. Following a dismal Week 10 loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Buffalo Bills benched starter Tyrod Taylor in favor of Peterman, a rookie quarterback with only a few professional snaps under his belt. The Bills hoped that Peterman would be able to breathe air into the team’s lifeless offense, kick-starting the team on a late-season playoff push. This didn’t happen.
