Celtic starting XI for Scottish Cup semi final

Celtic are at Hampden this afternoon to face St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup semi-final.

Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that it is an Easter Sunday to remember for Glasgow’s green and white, with a place in the Scottish Cup final up for grabs.

And ahead of today’s match, the Hoops’ boss has named the same starting XI from last week’s 5-1 victory over Kilmarnock at Celtic Park.

Vil Sinisalo will start between the stick for the Hoops, whilst Greg Taylor and Liam Scales take their places in defence.

James Forrest will be looking to book a place in his eighth Scottish Cup final, with both he and Daizen starting in the wide positions, and Adam Idah leads the line for the Celts.

The full team is:

CELTIC: Sinisalo, Taylor, Scales, Carter-Vickers, Johnston, Engels, McGregor (C), Hatate, Maeda, Forrest, Idah.
Subs: Bain, Trusty, Jota, Kühn, McCowan, Schlupp, Bernardo, Ralston

Kick-off at Hampden is at 3pm and you can follow all the action on our Official Match Centre
