I understand Garnett will not play tonight. Although it has been reported Marcus Morris will not play tonight, I would not rule it out.

Reportedly Garnett is "resting" tonight. The Celtics will be small. The Suns do not need to be standing tall tonight. :)

Celtics are now up by 11-0. Maybe the Celtics believe the Suns are bad enough they can rest Garnett without consequences. Maybe they are right.

The Celtics have been successful running against the Suns in the 1st quarter. Too many easy shots.

Okay, it's kind of embarrassing but I find I have more to say, once again, about the announcing than the game itself. This time though, it's actually positive. I suspect maybe someone has pointed out to Eddie that instead of being an analyst he's become a full-time critic. Tonight though, he's far less critical than he's been of late and he's describing the play and offering information instead of harping on every single detail. Much easier to listen to them without the constant negativity.

Maybe someone told Eddie he has to do it all. :D

I do agree there seems to be a less critical edge to the game.

Is the arena really that empty or are people slow getting back from the half?

Avery Bradley looks like he can turn into a Rondo clone. He is so quick and plays excellent defense.

A couple of really nice feeds late in the 3rd from Tucker and then Dragic but for the most part we've not been doing much on offense. A lot of standing around and forcing shots. Boston has been quicker to the loose balls than us and our rotations are a half step slower than usual. Did they all stay up and get drunk when they learned they hadn't been traded? Down 14 going into the 4th.

Suns really getting smaller and quicker with Marshall, Dragic and Garrett.

It's not working. The Celtic lead 95-74 in the 4th quarter.

The Celtics less Garnett have toyed with the Suns tonight. It's hard to believe the Suns defense is being coached.

I guess Beasley left the court after getting stared down by Hunter following a flubbed possession. Went down the tunnel, didnt come back. Assuming he wasnt hurt then this combined with Morris' arrival could mean we have seen the end of Measley's meaningful PT.

I didn't see it but you could well be right. Can Hunter be far behind. I thought defense was Hunter's specialty.

Hunter went off about the lack of effort, said if guys dont rotate then they wont play. He was asked why Beasley left the court during the 3rd and didnt come back, Hunter said "No idea".

Beasley can now add being a quitter onto his traits of being stupid and lazy. I hate that this clown ever put on a Suns uniform.

Alienating some of your fans and essentially forcing 2 assistants who have put in the time to quit sure was a great idea.

The Suns front office said the same thing about Porter. They won't learn, but the fans should.

A deeper, darker sense of reality has sunk in today. The Celtics viewed the Suns as easy pickings even without Garnett. More than that, they knew they could out play the Suns with just about any unit they put on the court with defense and execution. The Celtics are quick, athletic and play within a system, something the Suns do not.
