Some time ago I started a thread on centers.

George has started a couple also.

Now that the suns have sent White to Charlotte they need a center more than ever.

There is a chance that Scott Williams signs for the minumum again to back up and be a good guy in the locker room, with an eye on being a coach in the future. He said he wants to play longer.

There are no centers available to the suns in the draft unless they trade down and take Pavel, (D"antoni likes him) or maybe Biedrens.

I am back to Blount, (very decent player that can play defense and score some) It sounds like he wants to go to Miami.

Foyle, because he is a very good shot blocker and rebounder but might not score as much as Blount. (also cheaper for now)

Mihms Boston, (maybe include in a trade with Boston for exchange of picks, players, and Pierce??)

Cleveland backup Diop, who last year played a couple decent games. (also include in tradedown)

Dampier....no.
Camby.....no.

It seems like I am forgetting a couple names??

Lampe will get his time in this year to see what he can do, but I think he is a couple years away and we need a veteran to help now.

Anyway the suns are probably working on this because they need to sign a veteran free agent or trade for one.

Camby, Okur (RFA), Vlade Divac, Dampier, Foyle, Etan Thomas (RFA), Blount, Chris Mihm (RFA), Robert Traylor, Greg Ostertag.

I might be forgetting a player or two. I'm pretty sure that Diop isn't a RFA until next year.

Wow, how could I have forgotten Okur! :p

Diop would have to be traded for. There has been some talk that Cleveland may trade picks with the suns.

Robert Traylor, are you serious?

Etan Thomas would be a good player.

I would prefer Chandler because he can be a bigger, taller, better version of Marcus Camby in some time.

If Chandler is reasonably healthy he would be perfect for the Suns.

Athletic enough to play in our offense and specializes in defense, rebounding and shot-blocking.

Everyone is concerned about Chandlers back, and rightfully so.

If that can be checked out and there is no permanent damage, he is going to be a very good player. I think?

Chandler may need a change of scenery to improve. The scene in Chicago has not been the greatest since he has been there.

3 coaches, (probably 3 offenses) different gm etc.
