Nothing interesting. They said Suns would have to make another move, before having enough money to sign Kobe.

I cause it after I heard the post.

Basically Ford just said that

1.) Vujanic is a stud, and is a big reason why it was pulled

2.) The suns have a bunch of picks now, and one of the people on the radio said they heard about Googs to Utah plus a first rounder. That way they save more money this season, and get rid of a pick.

3.) Kobe is the target for a superstar, however who knows if it is possible to get him.

4.) They could facilitate another trade by taking on a 10 million dollar salary for a team looking to dump a contract. (Similar to how the Spurs just took Hedo and Mercer)

5.) They could outbid for Manu or Okur.

6.) Apparently Chad linked Dantoni to Kobe, and said that could play a role.

Also, he said the Lampe was a steal.

He said that both him and Vujanic should have been lottery picks had they been properly scouted.

He also thinks Marbury will do well in NY, since he has a GM who wants him to play how he does.

Gambo and Ash are thinking Marion would have to be moved in order to get Kobe, but that wouldn't be enough.

We can offer Kobe an 6 year, around 55 million deal right now. So another move has to be made for sure.

Should go to the Lakers and get him in a sign and trade deal...but I doubt they want to keep him in this conference

They just said that if the suns really wanted kobe, they could possibly move Marion in a sign and trade for Kobe, if they dont get far enough under the cap.

Basically a lot of talk about Kobe, and the possibilities. However they also are realizing that bryant is a far longshot.

Were like 10 mill under next year correct?

So if we could move White(6mill) for an expiring contract, that would be enough to go after Kobe.

This trade was scarey at first but I really do like the potential of it now.

I just dont think Kobe is guilty of rape, he is a good guy with a great upbringing. Not to mention a superstar at his status has women available to them 24/7. He is not stupid enough to throw his life away like a rape would.

If he is convcted he'll be in jail.

If he is guilty I hope he burnes in hell.

Gambo and Ash really don't know crap about basketball...

They were talking about trading Marion as if it was something that could be done easily.

How would Googs' trade kicker effect Utah?

Well, it sounds like he really likes the deal for the Phoenix Suns. He says Lampe and Milos Vujanic should have been lottery picks in the draft, and he thinks a player like Kobe Bryant would be very interested in playing with this team. I'm not sure about the Kobe Bryant aspect however. With the emphasis this team and the Diamondbacks have been trying to place on character Bryant's legal and marital troubles seem like too much baggage.

And if I hear one more person on the radio or this message board mention Quentin Richardson I'm going to lose it. I have this guy on my fantasy basketball team. He is exactly what the Phoenix Suns do not need. He's going to get overpaid this summer. He's not a great defender, and he is very inconsistent offensively.

BTW, the Phoenix Suns going to have anybody on their roster that is going to be a will to play tonight?

I'll leave this for the jury to decide, that isn't my place...besides I do not know him personally.

I'll rephrase my question...If Kobe goes to jail, what happens to his salary?

OMG Ash just said he thinks that Elton Brand is a free agent next year. They're talking about trading Shawn Marion this year. These guys really don't know **** about the NBA. :)

They both like to trade and that scares me. :)

I like to trade also though. It gives the Suns a flexibility they haven't had since they made the mistake of signing Tom Gugliotta accept this time they have a boatload of young talent to go along with that flexibility.

It's really a shame that the Suns traded Brevin Knight for Jahidi White. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.
