The Tennessee high school basketball season has come to a close as the TSSAA basketball state tournament wrapped up last week, which saw Loretto bring home the Class 2A state title while closing the season a perfect 35-0.
Now it's time to vote for The Daily Herald's final Columbia area TSSAA basketball athlete of the week of the season.
Nominees are listed below.
Kasen Buie, Loretto: Buie had 22 points and 10 rebounds in the 2A state semifinals and dropped 19 points and 14 rebounds in the state championship game, earning 2A state tournament MVP.

Grayson Burleson, Loretto: Burleson had 19 points, five rebounds, a block, assist and steal in the 2A state quarterfinals and then led the Mustangs with 20 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in the state championship game.
Nick Degnan, Independence: Degnan had 10 points with two made threes, two rebounds and an assist to lead the Eagles in a loss to Whitehaven in the Class 4A state quarterfinals.
Auden Slaughter, Santa Fe: Slaughter had a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds as Santa Fe closed its season out against Chattanooga Prep in the 1A state quarterfinals.
