They do a lot of shady recruiting. IIRC, those Chandler teams travelled nationally and had an ESPN game against a Florida(?) or Texas school.

Chandler and Chandler Hamilton are 2 of the best HS programs in the nation. If I remember correctly, a 3rd school laid a surprise beatdown on one of em this past season though

A guy that used to be in my pool league, who is an ASU booster, told me several years ago that they found Suggs in Casa Grande. They moved him up to Chandler to play & then to Chandler Hamilton. He said they put him on the juice in high school. They being ASU boosters.

Wow! They must have had one hell of a team!

In 2007 which was Jordan's senior year they were only 7-4 and were ranked like 30th in the state (according to Max Preps) so they weren't as good as you would have thought.

Know how I read that:

ASU and UofA need to get off their asses and start getting some of this talent. No excuse. Apparently AZ has a Baller factory in the backyard, and yet these two schools are thrilled when they get ranked top 20. Insight Bowl!!!

no shock. Probably 95% of highschool standouts were on something, or everything. The sad part is, A) with their bodies still so young, the effect on their growth can be substantial. B) they don't have doctors like College and Pro to monitor their health and apply appropriate doses.
