When they didn't throw and played only 12 games he has the NFL record for INTs in a season and is #4 all time

He was an absolute monster but the majority of the career INT leaders played prior to the 1980s. The reason is the same reason why passing has been going up ever since... there were no pass interference rules.

Night Train was allowed to clobber receivers while the ball was in the air. Passing was a very risky proposition, if your receiver had multiple defenders in the area one of them was likely to run him over while the other got an easy pick.

Loved Eric Swann, but cant include him because of injuries. Had he been 100% healthy, he’s probably the best we’ve ever seen. Simeon would’ve had a nice career here had he not been a dick.

I cant speak on the old timers, but if you’re scoring only PHX/AZ Cardinals, your Top-3 interchangeably have to be PP21, Chandler, and Aeneas.

Man it’s getting to the point with him he just can’t be ignored. His numbers are getting historical. Reggie White type production year in and year out.

he’s by far the best pash rusher we have ever had.
Good for us he flipped out acting crazy in New England that one night. He may not have been a trade consideration had that not happened? But what do I know? The Patriots are some cheap €@$+ards, probably wasn't gonna pay him his worth anyway?

The polarization of Peterson is a bummer. I wish people could recognize that, yes, he dogged it for quite a bit of this season and he also really struggled in the year prior to his diabetes diagnosis... but at the same time he has been, at worst, one of the top 3 corners in the league for the length of his career.

IMO, either he or Revis are the best man to man corners of the last 20 years.

Since I've been watching (early 90s), Aeneas is the best. Then it's a toss up between Chandler and PP21. After that Adrian Wilson. Simeon Rice was pretty special too. Then we get to the Dockett/Kwamie Lassiter tier.
I wish we could get a dominate DT like Dockett? That's why I want Derrick Brown, reminds me of DD. Imagine our DL with Brown next to CJ?

Chandler Jones only dark spot, from my perspective.... He highlights our POS GM, and gives him one of his few checkmarks that say's: "Well yeah, he was pretty terrible... But Christ!... Chandler Jones!"
