Chargers release right guard Trai Turner after only 1 season

Right guard Trai Turner was released by the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, less than a year after he was acquired in a trade from the Carolina Panthers. Turner was a five-time Pro Bowl selection with the Panthers but didn't have the same success with the Chargers. Turner started at right guard and allowed 19 quarterback pressures last season (one sack, two quarterback hits and 16 hurries).
