Charley Hull is back in action this week at the Ford Championship just outside Phoenix and she’s prepping like she always does, with an early run. Hull went so hard on the treadmill Wednesday, in fact, that she actually bled through her sock and her shoe. She posted photos of the incident on Instagram with the caption, "No pain, no gain."

Hull seemed quite pleased with her 10K time of 53 minutes and 22 seconds.

The two-time LPGA winner, currently No. 10 in the world, made headlines recently when she made a 10 grand bet with her mate that she'd stop smoking for two months. That was less than two weeks ago.

Hull tied for fourth in her most recent LPGA event three weeks ago in Singapore, where she threw up before the third round, ran a person best on a 5K and then shot 68. She struggled to a 74 in the final round to slip back.

Earlier this year in Saudi Arabia, Hull was asked about her biggest goal for the season and she didn't mention golf. The always entertaining Englishwoman said she wanted to try to get her 5K run time down 20 minutes by the end of the year.

The Ford Championship marks the first time that the top 10 players in the world will compete in the same field.
