I have not been able to get onto the chat room lately. Yes, my java is up to date.
I am running Vista updated from XP with Webroot Spy Sweeper.
I can't figure out why I can't get in. All I get is the page loading, yet it never does.
Any suggestions.
I never had a problem before I upgraded to Vista.

Did you upgrade or did you do a clean install? if you upgraded you need to clean out your cache, cookies, everything.

If that fails, use firefox

Yeah, I've cleaned my cookies, somehow that doesn't sound right, and cache.
I keep a pretty clean computer.

I know it is, I just can't figure out what it is.
There has to be a setting somewhere I'm overlooking.

I have not upgraded anything in years and have the same problem as O. Yes, I cleaned cache, cookies, ect... -- all to no avail.

Have you guys tried uninstalling JAVA and reinstalling it? It could be that Java is somehow corrupted.

I'm going to bring my laptop, which I know will let me in, home and compare all internet settings. If I can't find a solution that way I'll try a different browser.

I have had my browser be the culprit as well. Uninstalling the browser might help as well. If your able to get in using a different browser then bingo. Checking settings from one computer to the next might not help.

It won't work in Firefox either. It just keeps trying to load.
Yes, everything is enabled.
Now I'm really confused.

You da man! Thanks.
Works like a charm now, perfect.
I owe you a beer when I see you at one of the games this year.

Be careful of what you offer. Given the history of the Cards, you might need to refinance your house to pay up.

Just kidding - glad you found a solution.
