"Check our our RACKers"

Did anyone see the shot on the television broadcast of the 4 or 5 girls holding up that sign? I would love to get a picture of them.

Yes I did. Thanks for reminding me. I need to find that again on the tape as I was nodding off all throughout the game, but was semi-awake when I noticed that beautiful sight in the stands.

That shot was one of the reasons I replied to another post that the crowd did not look like the same people who used to go to SDS.

I would love to hear from the other long-time season ticket holders -- but the biggest thing I noticed last night in the stadium was that there is a completely different vibe in that building that there ever was in SDS.

SDS had that "hoping for the best, waiting for the inevitable" feeling -- complemeted by a healthy population of people in the other teams jersey

Last night -- upbeat -- Card jerseys outnumbered Broncos by 50 to 1

That probably has a lot to do with the change in atmosphere. Used to be more like 5:1.

Yes. It was after the extra point by Rackers on the Tate INT return for a TD with 1:51 remaining in the second quarter.

Hey, we were on TV also - right after the fumble that was called back because of penalty (10:22 to go in 2nd qtr). You can see my hubby high-fiving my neighbor Vickie and I'm caught in the middle.

It's also quite noticable to me that the drunken riff raff....people going to the game to raise hell as much as watching the games....is almost nonexistent in the new stadium.

it's only because the drunken rif raff now gets to cool down inside the stadium, instead of baking and stewing at SDS.

Reducing the number of opposing fans by 10,000 or 50,000 has a lot to do with that.

I hope I never see games again like the Cowboys in the late 90's where the entire ASU campus was a Dallas tailgate area or the 2003 Vikings game with SDS awash in purple and gold.
