Who is this guy...and why is he not in jail??

What the hell is he pushing onto America's Youth??

My kids always go by the Spagetti O aisle....and scream for the Chef and his big can o Raviolis. Finally, I give in and buy it.

They demand it for dinner last night....and heck, I decided to heat it up in the Microwave cuz it was easy.

Here are my observations:

1) Poured into bowl in one continous jelly like blob.

2) Exploded in Microwave. Ravioli stains will never be removed.

3) Kids get big grin while eating it.....very disturbing.

4) I ate a bite....and it tastes horrible....like gasoline flavored vomit.

5) My left side hurts today. I think the Chef loaded up that Ravioli with Arsenic.

Looking back, it does taste pretty terrible.

I always have a few cans on hand just in case I can't pack a lunch.

I love spaghetti-o's! Ravioli is yummy, too. Beefaroni = yum, as well.

Gotta cook it on low heat in micro, NEZ, & it doesn't take long. Be sure to loosely cover it, too.

Weird thing is, all 3 of my kids hate the stuff. They're crazy.

Top Ramen. I lived off that stuff for a few years. My roommate and I used to find it on sale for 14 cents a package and buy every package they had.

And I was watching American Eats on canned foods, and apparantly back in the day Chef Boyardee was the man and was some really awesome chef who people loved and his food was awesome. They canned it and gave it to troops.

Either it tasted like ass then and we have evolved to have taste buds, or it tasted good and there are little gnomes in the cans pooping in the food because it is most def not good.

Thread Hijackers!

They still make the Chef Boyardee pizza kits (where you put water in the flour and make the dough, etc), I always liked the taste of the pizza sauce.

We used to make the pizza's when I was a kid, and we made the pizza's at home with our kids when they were growing up. The kids really had a lot of fun making their own pizza's, adding their own toppings, etc.
