Chelsea Join Race For This Athletic Bilbao Star To Replace Jadon Sancho: Good Decision?
Williams has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 37 games this season so far. He is averaging 2.1 shots, 1.8 key passes, and 2.6 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored). He is also doing exceptional work for the national side.
The Spanish attacker primarily plays on the left flank but can also feature at other positions. He has good pace, effective dribbling skills, and strong finishing abilities. He works hard off the ball and can take set pieces effectively.
Whom will Nico Williams join for?
Chelsea aren’t convinced with Jadon Sancho’s performances even though he has done decently well. The club is unlikely to opt for his permanent move in the summer. Hence, they are showing more interest in Nico Williams, who can be an upgrade.
Willams is a proven performer and is likely to get better and better. He can surely add more goals up front for Enzo Maresca’s side. As he is just 24, the player can serve the Blues for many years to come and make a legacy for himself.
