Chelsea, Man Utd Get Boost as No Club Yet to Make Formal Offer for £35M-Rated PSG Target

Last October, reports indicated that Paris Saint-Germain had identified River Plate’s Franco Mastantuono as a top transfer target. If the Ligue 1 club pushes forward with a deal, they might have one less rival in the race for the Argentine teenager.

Mastantuono’s release clause is currently set at €40 million but will increase to €45 million in the final 10 days of the transfer window. While PSG remain interested, Diario AS journalist Eduardo Burgos reports that Manchester United are also closely monitoring him.

Other top European clubs, including Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea, are also keeping tabs on Mastantuono. ESPN Argentina adds that Manchester United are particularly eager to sign him and are preparing a bid for January.
