Chelsea and Tottenham have been fined a combined 600,000 pounds ($865,000) by the English Football Association for failing to control their players and officials in a heated Premier League match between the London clubs. The FA said on Monday the clubs admitted to three breaches of FA regulations at the May 2 game at Stamford Bridge, with two incidents during the game before a mass melee near the dugouts after the final whistle involving players and coaches. Chelsea was fined 375,000 pounds ($540,000) and Tottenham 225,000 pounds ($325,000).
