Chicago Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts was booed during an annual fan festival last Friday after he began talking about the Marquee Sports Network, the team's upcoming cable network. Set to launch in February, the Marquee Sports Network is set to broadcast about 150 Cubs regular-season games per season as part of 24-hour coverage of the franchise. “The promise for the next 10 years is to continue to have the best relationship with our fans of any professional sports team in the world, and that starts with the Marquee Network,” Ricketts said, prompting a wave of boos from the crowd.
