Chicago Road Trip - Pre Game Festivity Details!

Road Trippers:

I started this new thread to focus solely on pre game day tailgate activities. Hope you can join us per the details below:

I have been coordinating directly with the owner of Mother Hubbards so here are the details for Sunday pregame festivities:

1) Mother Hubbards is located at 5 W. Hubbard St on SW corner of Hubbard and State. ( http://hubbards.squarespace.com)
2) If staying at Hyatt Regency on Wacker, then Hubbards is just a half mile 10 minute walk across river from Hyatt. Take River Walk west to State then north to Hubbard. See attached map.
3) Hubbards will open at 9AM but cannot serve alcohol until 10AM per stupid state law
4) Shuttle Express buses directly to the stadium ($2) are just one block south of Hubbards and run every 10 minutes. Roughly a half hour ride with stops.
5) The owner, Kathy, has agreed to offer us Cardinals fans $2 discount off ANY item! So, a $5 beer only $3 for example. Tell her you're with MadJack.

That's it, Cards fans! Though a relatively short period to pregame party it would be an absolute blast if you could join us as the Red Sea / Birdgang march into Soldier Field. Absolutely epic!!

Kasey's Tavern in Printer's Row district is an official AZ Cardinals bar. It is located in the south loop, very close to soldier field. They have a cardinals helmet and flag up front, cant miss it.

I have never been to Chicago and wish I could go to this one. Hope to see a decent amount of red in the stands

also--- please trust me, Mother Hubbards is a terrible place. Its like going to a chili's and youre not close to anything.

the South loop neighborhood is where you want to be, its next to the stadium. Thats where all the bars/tailgating are.

look up these bars for pre-game postgame

those 4 will be hoppin' inside and outside with plenty of beer, food, and tv's! Please ultimately do what you want but I have lived in chicago my whole life --- these are where you want to be. Its great atmosphere.

OOOOOOOOH ok sorry I thought maybe your hotel recommended it and you just decided to go with it. No prob. if there is enough of you then it should be a party no matter where you go.

Word to the wise.....you all know Chicago is a terrible crime city. DO NOT be cavalier with your cell phone/ipad/etc. they are being stolen at a record pace whether it is a bum rush mugging or a pick pocket. They steal them and sell them at an alarming pace. Enjoy Chicago go Cards!

Big Red, has Mother Hubbard's changed? It was an awesome place a few years ago and the best sports bar I have been too. It looks like kind of a dive bar on the outside but the food, TV's, drinks, everything was great and it was packed.

Either way, It will be great to see a bunch of Cards fans.
