Chiefs suspend RB Johnson until Nov. 9 (AP)

The Kansas City Chiefs have suspended running back Larry Johnson until Nov. 9. The club is on its bye week so Johnson will miss one game, at Jacksonville on Nov. 8. The three-sentence news release issued Wednesday night said only that Johnson, who turns 30 in a few weeks, was suspended for conduct detrimental to the club.
