He was not tendered. I think you could bring him on a minor league deal with tons of incentives. He is a lefty and won 18 games for the Brewers in 05.

D-Backs don't do incentive deals. I would see what he wants, but he hasn't been the same pitcher since he got injured.

Ehhh... yeah, I don't see it. With Webb, Haren, and Scherzer at the top with DD in there, I don't see us spending anything on a #5... but how great would it be if DD was our #5 (meaning we do acquire someone else decent)!

Isn't Yusmeiro Petit already considered our #5 starter?
