The Road to San Antonio is officially underway for Auburn men's basketball, as Bruce Pearl's team took the floor Thursday against No. 16 Alabama State.
But the top-seeded Tigers appear to have taken a hit to their depth.
Senior forward Chris Moore exited Thursday's NCAA Tournament opener against No. 16 seed Alabama State with an apparent right ankle injury while going up for a layup.

Moore entered the NCAA Tournament averaging 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.
Auburn is currently taking on No. 16 Alabama State in the first-round of the NCAA Tournament Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. At time of writing, Auburn is tied up in a close game with the 16-seeded Alabama State. Moore was seen on an exercise bike later in the game on the broadcast.
The winner of Thursday's game will face No. 9 seed Creighton, who defeated No. 8 seed Louisville earlier on Thursday.
