Oh yea you are right me not wanting Emmitt Smith is really close to being just like Nem a longtime Cardinals basher and and outright troll that haunts Cardinals message boards. Thats a good comparison Im glad you have the intellect to come up with one so close!

That statement right there has plain and simply made me lose all respect for you as a poster on this board PERIOD! You know damn well I am no NEM and not even anything close to that in any way shape or form! Chris you have been posting with and around me for quite awhile I would have expected better from you!

Anyone else what is the difference of me expressing my opinions against Emmitt as copmpared to your opinions for that have also been expressed well more than one time????

Ed in fact you have posted more than one thread on your opinions on why we should sign Emmitt. So sorry but that definately sounds like a pot and kettle scenario to me!

My opinions in the con which I have many are just as valid as your for opinions and are good questions to be raised. By the way Ed you question Cards moves all the time do you not??? Or wait are you the only one blessed with that power on this board???

No one's attacking the content of your opinion, which you are entitled to, but being the troll on every single Emmitt Smith thread and popping in and saying the exact same thing over and over isn't really productive.

I mean, feel free to say whatever you want however many times you want, but from my perspective it gets a little trollish after a while to open up every single thread about Smith or free agency and see you trying to start the same argument.

Umm I could name at least 10 other posters(you ncluded) if you were to go back through the various Emmitt threads who have posted there same opinions about signing Emmitt well more than 3 or even 4 times so just a question why isnt everyone jumping on them??

Is it because there posts may be one paragraph? What is it??

So everytime a new Emmitt thread pops up it only meant for the pro-Emmitt people to post on???

Plus Jeff Gollin is a respected poster on here and he has posted in at least 6 different threads in a pro Emmitt stature is he a troll?

Another respected poster by the name of ajcardfan has numerous posts throughout many of the Emmitt threads all for the pro-Emmitt stance do you consider him a troll???

The one thing that's amazed me is the sheer passion some folks on this bb have against signing Emmitt - like it was their money that was being spent.

I view Emmitt as no more/no less than one of other RB options we might have that could improve and/or add depth to our RB unit. But I don't think any of the other options available to us are all that viable. (The RB draft pool is its thinnest in years and there's not much available in free agency).

So what the heck? Give Emmitt a shot. He can't hurt us, and his intangibles represent icing on the cake.

So far as overspending - we're not strapped for cap-cash, so why not?

Uh oh Jeff you just restated much of the same stuff you have posted on other threads. You did in a thread where at least one poster thinks if you do that it is "unproductive" stop before your lumped into that "troll" category as well!

NEM - Constantly posted threads calling moves the Cardinals made, or were thinking about making as "stupid". Posted these threads on a regular basis and added extreme negativity to the board. Routinely started threads calling out certain individuals for doing what in his eyes was the same thing everyone else was getting pissed off at him about. Did not have a clue
