He just robbed Cameron of a grand slam. One of the best catches of the year, along with Salazar's!

That probably saved the game right there. Great catch! I cheered for that one. :)

The most impressive part about it was he was shaded to left, and ran full speed to the left, leaping at the last moment to save the grand slam. One of the best catches I've ever seen, this last month has been a coming out party for Young.

Give Young another 2-3 years and I think he'll be one of the best players in baseball. He can literally do EVERYTHING.

Young really has exploded over the last month or so, defensively and offensively. Maybe Quentin can take note, instead of losing the ball in the air and hitting .200 all the time.

^Only 6 results thats very few for YouTube, and its mostly his extra curricular stuff. Notice how much NBA stuff for instance you can find on there, but you can't find Gonzo's world series winning hit. I'm fairly certain MLB has an anti YouTube policy (which is stupid).

MLB is the most over-protective pro sports league in the country. They've toyed with the idea of locking out all press and just running their own media company. Not kidding! There are ridiculous limits put on newspapers with websites about what they can do with photographs and when they can put them on their site. Absolutely no video of any kind is allowed to go on a non-MLB website.

^Which is just ridiculous, especially the YouTube thing. Having highlights, user made remixes, etc. on Youtube just makes your league more popular and gets fans involved and interested. It doesn't hurt your sponsors-its not like people are watching YouTube and not watching the games, in fact, just the opposite.

That first one is a great action shot. Although I watched the game, I find the still shots more descriptive, if that makes sense.

Tremendous catch! Certainly anything but the "best ever", but given the stage of the game and how much ground he had to cover, it ranks very high on the list for sure!

Still not sold on him offensively, though he has been steadily improving... Need your CF to do much better than a .245 average...

He can sure go get it though. Great defensive player. If he can develop into at minimum a .290 hitter, he will be a terrific player for the D-backs for a long time to come.

Not your rookie CF.

I view Chris Young as Mike Cameron clone with a higher ceiling. I am not sure he will ever be a .300 hitter, but he will play gold glove defense, hit 30 plus HRs, and steal bases. The upside is that he learns to make more contact. Those skills are good enough for me.

He hits .291 in the leadoff hole, so in other words, when Bob Melvin doesn't do something stupid, Youngs bat is just fine, plus he's got 19HRs. Pretty good for a rookie. I think its an easy bet to say Young will have 20Hrs/20 stolen bases next year (maybe even this year if he ups his stolen base attempts) and eventually he'll be a 30/30 type of guy.

Here we go again with batting average.

No GM in baseball gives two craps what your batting average is, if CY needs to work on anything it's pitch selection as he's a leadoff hitter with a sub-300 OBP.

Yup... and with better "pitch selection" comes a higher OBP and guess what - a better than .245 batting average!

The problem is, Chris Young is not a leadoff hitter. He should be hitting down in the order.
