Just what I was thinking. If I was coaching against him, I'd bring everybody up, deny the short stuff, and make him beat me deep.

If you bring the safeties up he can beat you deep because Uruttia is tall and fast while Douglas catches anything thrown his way in man coverage. If you leave the coverage on the recievers Brohm will hit the tight ends.

Watching Notre Dame right now I'm wondering is Clausen ever going to throw a pass across the line of scrimmage?



he looks pretty good so far to be honest, very composed for a true freshman in his first start.

You're probably right. But doing what's not working, over and over again, is dumb. I'd make Brohm prove what you just claimed.
