The Class 4A top-ranked Eagles beat No. 4 North Rock Creek 68-58 in the semifinals Friday at State Fair Arena.
OU football signee CJ Nickson led the way, finishing with 32 points and 11 rebounds.
The game was delayed due to heavy winds causing the lights to go out inside the arena. It was also stopped twice, once in the third quarter and again in the fourth.
This has been an issue at State Fair Arena.
The Class A girls quarterfinals between Cyril and Quinton on March 4 was stopped and pushed back to the next day because of the same reason. Amber-Pocasset and Okarche played before that, and that matchup was stopped twice.
