Very nice gesture.

As the last of the guys who also played in L.A. Isaac the Bruce will be missed. Great player.

I am the last person to commend a Niner but it was definitely classy of Josh to relinquish his starting WR job so Isaac Bruce could start the final game of his NFL career in St.Louis on Sunday.

Kudos to Morgan!

NOOOOO!! You need time to develop Josh and we need to whip the Rams!!! Thanks for your service Bruce, but we got to put the W first.

Technically...doesn't Bruce being the "starter" basically just entail him being on the field for the first offensive snap?

I think Josh needs to sit so he's rested for the playoffs.;)

shocker...coming from you

Sorry, but Bruce doesn't go before the TEAM. Bruce even said it himself that he wanted the young WRs to play, especially since he hasn't practiced in a while. A token appearance is more disrespectful to him knowing that he can't really help at this point.

if i had Alex Smith as my QB, i'd let the other guy play as well. It has to be frustrating that if you run a pattern more than 6 yards downfield that your QB can't get you the ball.

I am a diehard Big Red Fan but I have had the previledge of seeing Bruce play for the Rams. He is one of a dying breed in professional sports. A true professional who strived to make himself better each year. Reminds me of our receivers a lot.
