Vonnie Holliday went shopping, and found another team.
Holliday
After spending the last five seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Holliday agreed in principle to a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, ESPN.com's John Clayton reported Monday.
The free-agent defensive end agreed to a five-year deal worth $21.3 million, which includes a $4 million signing bonus. The contract would also include a $5 million option bonus for the 2005 season.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Holliday also visited with the Seahawks and Cardinals over the last month and a half, giving further prove that his return to Green Bay was unlikely.
Holliday started 10 games last season, recording one sack and one interception. He missed six weeks with a torn pectoral muscle.
In five NFL seasons, all with the Packers, he has 32 sacks and two interceptions, starting 63 of his 66 games.
