Another member from the Clemson Tigers' 2024-25 men's basketball team has entered the transfer portal..
Christian Reeves, the Tigers' backup to center Viktor Lakhin last season, entered the transfer portal on Monday. The State's Chapel Fowler confirmed the news in a post to social media.
It's the second year in a row that Reeves has entered the portal. A season ago, the 7-foot-2 center from Oak Hill Academy in Virginia transferred to Clemson after spending two years at Duke. Reeves (1.2 PPG, 1.5 REB) played in 29 games for the Tigers last season, making one start and averaging five minutes a game. He had seven blocks, six steals and five assists.
Reeves committed to Duke in 2022. 247Sports ranked him the No. 28 overall center in the nation and the ninth-best recruit out of Virginia. On3 ranked Reeves as the No. 20 center and the 128th overall best recruit in the 2022 recruiting class.
Reeves is the sixth Clemson player to enter the transfer portal since the Tigers' season ended in a 69-67 upset loss to No. 12 seed McNeese State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. He joins forwards Chauncey Wiggins and Asa Thomas, guard Del Jones, big man Jackson Roberts, and guard Jake Heidbreder among Clemson players that have entered the transfer portal.
Only one player who saw action for Clemson in 2024-25 remains on Brad Brownell's roster: guard Dillon Hunter (5.4 PPG in 22.5 minutes). Three-star guard Ace Buckner and 4-star forward Dallas Thomas also remain on the Tigers' roster. Both Buckner and Thomas redshirted last season.
The Tigers went 27-7 overall this past season. Their 26 regular-season wins, which included a 77-71 upset of top-ranked Duke on Feb. 8, are the most in program history.

Can confirm that Clemson center Christian Reeves has entered the transfer portal. With that departure, Clemson has now lost 10 of 13 scholarship players from last year’s roster to either the portal or graduation. A major overhaul to come, even w/ three incoming freshmen
