Yep, in like two weeks. Good times. I am too lazy to find a link.

Clerks was a GOOD film, but not a GREAT film IMO. I really don't understand all the hoopla.

I agree it wasn't this monumental piece of film like how some fanboys talk about it. Where they bow down everytime the name is mentioned. Some of the bits got a little tired during the course and the whole black and white thing is a little irritating. It wasn't a complete waste of film, it has some chuckles in it and I watch it when it is on HBO....

I think it's hilarious. As is most of Kevin Smith's stuff...but then again, I grew up going to a Catholic school, a Star Wars and comic book geek, and hung out at local convenience stores, video stores, and malls. I guess I fit the target audience of Kevin Smith's films. Go figure. :D

Clerks was new, different, intelligent, satirical, and rebelliously funny...so I can see why some folks think it so blase

Oh, and FYI, the 'black and white' thing was about money...it wasn't a stylistic choice, thank you.

I'm in exactly the same boat. I've always been a serious mallrat, was raised Catholic, and love Star Wars references. I think Clerks was a great movie, and the comedy in the movie was perfect...intelligent, yet juvenile. I love it :)

I still need to see Jersey Girl, but I must say I've really enjoyed all the Kevin Smith movies. Especially Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma.
