This show has been airing on Sundance TV. It has a short first season, but is well worth it. It's about a group of indigenous people in Australia that lived in secret for millenia--the hairies--and now that they're out in the open, they're being persecuted as a sub-human race. The Cleverman is an aboriginal leader with magic who...well, I'm going to be terrible at explaining it, so I'll leave a few links below.
I like the show quite a bit--it has Jorah the Andal in it, even--and hope it comes back for another season.
