Clippers neeed this game to tie the Fakers in the Pacific. Both teams are on a second night of a back to back. Should be a good one!

The Suns have had success against the Clipps this year with Hill gaurding Chris Paul.

Will Hill pull a Willis Reed and play tonight?

Per ESPN:
It's uncertain if Suns forward and defensive stalwart Grant Hill will miss a third straight game with a sore right knee.

"He could play, but I don't want to stick him out there unless I know he's OK," coach Alvin Gentry told the Suns' official website.

Phoenix is giving up 106.0 points per contest over the last five games.

Grant Hill will not play today.

Like seriously, why the hell didn't he go on the IR list instead of always giving us hope! He probably doesn't realize that if he comes for the last 2 games of the season, those games probably won't matter if his dum*** doesn't play and help us win these games right now.

I guess there's not much he can do cause its an injury thing but still.

Just need to win three out of four - including the Utah game. If Utah wins its other two games and Houston all remaining games, it will put all teams at 35 wins and the Suns at eight (tie breaker).

At the moment, my money would have to be on Utah, to be honest. Portland and self-destructing Orlando look like push-overs while Phoenix needs to beat two out of the Clippers, Nuggets and Spurs to even make the encounter with the Jazz meaningful. Houston pretty much blew their chances today with a loss to the Hornets.

Suns down 29-27 after the 1st quarter. :(

Suns not doing much well: too many turnovers, poor defense, poor defensive rebounding.

If this is how you really feel, then you and I see the game of basketball from completely opposite perspectives.

We absolutely NEED Grant Hill. Anything supporting the idea of injuring Grant Hill because he comes back from surgery before being correctly healed, is that much worse of an idea. You can't ask Grant Hill to come back too early from injury because a) he's not going to be nearly as effective as he could be, and b) he will likely be forced to shut it down for the rest of the season if he hurts himself again.

Because of all of this, I believe that anybody on the Suns who hasn't done all that he can to pick up the slack left by Hill's absence is a loser. Marcin Gortat is obviously the biggest dud on this team; but guys like Lopez, Redd, Childress, Brown, and obviously, Dudley and Nash have shown some real winning qualities.

Point is, I blame the dumb**ses like Marcin Gortat and Hakeem Warrick who have, in the case of Warrick, shown that he doesn't have anything to contribute, or in the case of Gortat, has removed virtually all reasonable doubt that he is a bum who will fold (mentally and physically) when asked to step up to bat. His crap play hurts our chances for the playoffs and b) puts more pressure on Grant Hill to come back a game or two too early.

Bad sequence from the Suns with a turnover, leaving wide open Clippers shooters, and giving up multiple offensive rebounds. :(

Come on guys.

Wow, Houston went down to the Hornets tonight in OT. A crushing loss for them.

Suns up 46-45 after the 2nd quarter. :)

Hasn't been a pretty game so far.

I like that Verizon I-Phone 4 commercial with Zooey Deschannel. :)

Dismall first half shooting. Let's hope we got hot in the second half. I just started watching, how the heck has Nash been held to only 2 assists?

LMAO, Barkleys agrees with the tank for draft picks plan. Maybe he should move to Portland. Suns have heart, players show it.

Nash has 4 points, 4 turnovers and only two assists at the half.

Telfair has 10 points, 1 turnover and two assists.

I hope someone in the Suns FO is noticing Nash's game is winding down.

what good does having heart do if you have no talent?

I've already got a Cardinals shirt with the slogan "At least we tried" on it. the idea that the Suns become that makes me sick.
