Some news. J.J. Redick may miss tonight's game. The Suns can use any help they can get.

Paul Coro ‏@paulcoro 2h2 hours ago

The Clippers list J.J. Redick (lower back spasms) as out for tonight's #SunsVsClippers. He left Wednesday's loss at DAL in the 2nd quarter.

I think the Suns have been close to beating the Clippers in a lot of games in the recent past. Hopefully they can get over the hump.
Clippers like to be physical and then complain when teams are physical with them. If the Suns are physical and execute without turning the ball over they can win.

On another note I see a lot of people wanting to start TJ over PJ but I see TJ's value as scoring off the bench. If he starts who fills the 6th man scoring role? Besides if he finishes the game then who cares if he starts?

So I think that TJ and Len are locks for the reserve unit with regular minutes. Leuer is playing well and should get regular minutes over Teletovic. The real question is who will be that first guard off the bench? So far we have seen Goodwin, Price, and Weems. As good as I think Booker will be he is still very young and still needs some development time.

I hope he gets that time/experience on a regular basis. It's not like we're ready to be a Championship contender.

I agree, Booker should be getting some of the minutes that belong to Sonny Weems. Also the Suns need to decide how they want to play (or not play) Archie Goodwin.

While I can appreciate the idea that they aren't contenders the team still wants to win. He has to be consistent and play decent defense to get minutes. Much like TJ last year, despite his offensive talent I haven't seen much to make me think coach is going to play him regular minutes.

Hope he comes along quickly because his shot and offensive IQ looks great so far.

And, just as important, consistent minutes.

I've noticed that Horny will use a young bench player in the 1st half, but then not in the 2nd. Or vice versa.

Suns are gonna be playing the Clippers on their second night of a back to back while we had 3 days rest plus the game is at home for the Suns and their missing their starting SG JJ Redick...there is really is no excuses for us to lose this one too.

We have to start beating teams good teams and the Clippers have won something like 10 straight against the Suns...it's about time the Suns can put together a win against them.

It's looking even bleaker for the Suns. I have to say... these are the type games that have given the Suns problems in the past.

With Chris Paul and J.J. Redick out, the Clips' starting backcourt for #SunsVsClippers will be Austin Rivers and Pablo Prigioni.

Chris Paul (right groin strain) is out for #SunsVsClippers. J.J. Redick (back spasms) already had been ruled out.

I'm watching the end of the Warriors @ Wolves game. Sometimes you wonder if the Warriors may not become a dynasty with Stephen Curry running the show.

It just shows how far we still have to go. The Clippers are missing their all star guard and another starter yet they still have the best player in this game and arguably the 2 best.

Not really, Bledsoe is the 2nd best player in the game, Jordan isn't close.

The Suns team need to watch game film of the GS Warriors over and over again to learn ball movement on offense. They may not have Curry but they can learn ball movement.

I hope Knight is okay as it looked like he landed on his shoulder.

I suppose if Blake can learn to shoot free throw this well......anything is possible.

Or the Hawks. Or the Spurs.

Put Booker in over Goodwin or go small ball with Leuer at the 5 and put Booker in with Len out.
