I'm planning on making this last game of the year tonight. Only the second or third one I've will have made this year.
GO SUNS!

I'd just like to see something positive tonight, win or lose.

can we not get below Utah right now?

Even if the Suns tie with the Jazz in losses the Suns own the tiebreaker thanks to that non-call call by the referee in their last meeting.

This idea keeps popping up but it's misleading. A 75% free throw shooter has roughly a 42% chance of making all 3 free throws. Odds are, he'd make 2 and the Jazz (road team) would likely lose in OT. It was a blown call but it didn't necessarily decide the outcome. It prevented the Jazz from having a chance at beating us but it didn't cost them a victory.

OK, last year we got the 14th pick, but the two previous years 13 (Marshall), 13 (Kieff). And this year looks like another 13

Still, the game was decided by a referee and not finished on the court. He was incorrect in his non-call. The Suns could have been playing for the 12th seed tonight.

However, I'm sure the Suns would find a way to blow it anyway. :)

It's what the Suns do. Bad luck or nothing.

Well, if we're taking ref errors out of the equation to say where the Suns "should" be then there were certainly 2 or 3 games that went the other way, depriving the Suns of one they should have won. Especially the Clipper game where Blake hit the 3. There was some jaw dropping bad calls down the stretch that night.

Refs screw up, it happens.

However, the thing is, that Utah non-call was so obvious. Even Suns fans felt the referee was wrong.

Overtime for Pacers, Wizards. I wonder if they will go to the Suns as a game in progress.

Wizards player clearly gets hip checked and knocked off the ball driving to the basket. No call.
