Teodosic, 31, appeared in 60 games across two seasons with the Clippers, averaging 8.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 21.4 minutes. The 6’5”, 195-pound guard joined L.A. following a decorated 13-year international career in Serbia, Greece and Russia.

I know this guy was mentioned here because of Igor's familiarity with him. Maybe after he clears waivers we bring him in to fill out the remainder of the season?

Hmm. I think the Suns have been waiting for this to happen. He is a great passer. He is a horrible defender. If he is healthy, I hope we go after him.

At a bare minimum we can see once and for all if the problem is lack of a point guard, Igor or both.

It takes 48 hours to clear waivers so we shall see.

Shelvin Mack wouldn't be a bad addition either at point guard and he will not turn 29 until April.

If the Suns sign someone, it would be good if they can be the backup point guard next season.

We are not going to pick him up off of waivers, because we don't want to may him that much (not sure if we even have the space to). If he clears waivers, he will have options. So we might not get him, just because he doesnt' want to come here.

Don't we have 2 spots open on the roster?

So completely written off Okobo and Melton, have you?

I wonder if Kokoskov has a relationship with Teo.

I don't believe Milos ever played for him, but Igor is a legend in Serbia so I am sure they know each other. Little known fact is that Igor was a very good player before he had a career-ending injury in his early 20s. There is no player from former Yugoslavia that wouldn't love to play for Igor.

I heard he wants to go back to Europe. I'm guess he's heading straight back and not interested in staying in the NBA.

It's good to hear. Maybe this gives the Suns a leg up on the competition.

I've also heard Teo would like to return to Europe after he leaves the Clippers.

That's always a possibility. Most players can make far more money in Europe.

This is why I'm always looking for other point guard options like Mack. There might still be more point guards waived.

Agreed, and I prefer Mack to Teodosic. But at this point, I will take anyone halfway decent if it means not playing Tyler Johnson, Okobo, Melton, Booker or Crawford at the point.

I can agree with some of the above 1Sun but I'd like to see Tyler can do paired with Booker.

This would not stop me from adding another point guard though.

Take a look at what Tyler has done when paired with Dragic, who is a much better facilitator than Booker, and especially how Tyler has struggled mightily when Dragic hasn't been available to man the point, and I think you will have your answer as to what he can do paired with Booker.
